I would like to have a quite simple look of the list. The focus should be on the images and not on UI elements like the scrollbar or decorative elements.
The image shows how I think it will suite to the aim of having the image in focus.

So - how can I get the scrollbar and list skinned? As I mentioned in Designer on Air - Application Chrome II there is a post about skinning which you can find here. But what are my settings?
As a list I use a HorizontalList with a ScrollBar. The HorizontalList has no padding, no borderStyle and all colour related attributes will have the background colour of my content area. The ScollBar elements get skinned by images and as I dont want any arrows (up and down or right and left) I set their ClassReference to null. Perhaps you recognise that I use the thumb.png several times as I also dont want any changes when I click or hover the thumb.
